So, the first week I think I’ll be spending sleeping 10 hours a day. I don’t know why am I sleeping this much because at home I hardly sleep for 8 hours, and here, it seems like an easier task. Now, I’m waking up earlier only because of the breakfast, because I cannot stay hungry for a long time, I cannot miss breakfast. And after breakfast, I came to the room, got into the bed, stretched my body on the bed, and while thinking of her slept for next 2 hours. I don’t like this phase at all.youtube.com I mean before going home, I was spending most of the time doing things, reading books, and now, I’m spending most of the time sleeping, which is not appreciable at all.

At 2, I came to the class to attend 2 hours Economics and 1 hour PDD lecture, and after that, I came to the room.youtube.com I forgot to mention her early morning offline messages, I guess 13 they were. And I got ready, and went to the gym, did 108 Suryanamaskaram and then came to the room. After getting ready, I ate a laddu, and then was scrolling through mobile, and wasting my time, and then I started reading my book Bachelor’s Marriage, and when you read your book, you understand how much you have to progress. And then I came down for not so exciting but too much spicy, stringent dinner. Getting into the washroom after that it’s an obvious thing. I learned some French (language) lessons, revised some Spanish (language) lessons, and after completing writing here, I’ll read for an hour or so, before going to the classmate’s room to complete the project work. Now, I’m growing cynical about the project we’re doing, and I’m thinking of not wasting my money into those things. I mean, it’d be seriously useless if we don’t get anything out of it.

Good morning, Quartz readers! As blatant sex discrimination in the workplace gave way to more covert forms of bias, a funny thing happened to women when we tried explaining the persistent lack of gender parity: We started blaming ourselves. Too often, we realized, we scale back our professional ambitions when work-life balance pressures start to mount. We mistake our offices for meritocracies, and neglect to hone the networking skills necessary for advancement. We lack confidence, eschew risk, and harm our own earnings potential by failing to be bold enough in salary negotiations. In a world reverberating with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s advice to Lean In, Nadella appeared tone deaf.

He sounded sexist in condoning the idea of working within a system that has been distinctly unkind to women, instead of demanding a system that’s fairer to everyone. But given the backlash that has continued to befall outspoken female executives, his guidance doesn’t seem altogether unhelpful. It might be a way for women to protect themselves in a sexist environment. Lessons from Tiananmen for Hong Kong. Han Dongfang was exiled to Hong Kong after his role in the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. Now, he tells Lily Kuo, the territory’s pro-democracy movement needs to seize a negotiating opportunity or risk running out of steam.

It’s August. Parents, students, and tutors trickle in back home from their hiking trails in the mountains, visits to the Smithsonian institution, or fancy vacation resort in Capo. Slowly but surely, they replace their thoughts of hiking to the sports curriculum, from the Smithsonian to understanding the science of physics or from Capo to learning intermediate Spanish. Sometimes they think "I can’t handle it" or "the transition it too much". But then, all have done it last year and their unconscious mind knows they will succeed this 2014 season as well. Yes, it is tough to make the switch to the busy school schedule. However, there is no better time than now to get a head start for the 2014 fall season. Remember, the finals are only a few months away now. Should you be in need of help in making this transition, we recommend talking to one of our life coaches. HONG KONG - Singer Gigi Leung and her husband of three years, Spanish food engineer Sergio Crespo Gutes, shed tears of joy as they welcomed their firstborn, a girl, last Saturday, said Hong Kong newspapers. Leung, 38, gave birth naturally to her daughter, weighing more than 2.7kg, in hospital at Victoria Peak on Saturday night, said Apple Daily. Her husband had sent her to hospital when she felt a sudden discomfort on Friday night. She shared a photo of the newborn's tiny hand clasping her finger, and another of the baby sleeping. According to Apple Daily, her husband had been most attentive during her pregnancy.

When he was not working, he was at her side, making sure she was eating right. She had to be careful about eating cold food, but when she had a craving for ice cream, he would make an exception and allow her a couple of mouthfuls. The couple plan to bring up the girl in Hong Kong, said the report. They do not want her to be spoon-fed lessons, and are considering enrolling her in an international school. Leung's sworn sisters, actress Charlie Young, actress Lee Sinje and singer Valen Hsu, all chimed in with congratulatory messages online on Sunday, said Ming Pao Daily News. Young said she had known Leung for two decades, and was "moved beyond description" to witness her becoming a mother.

The modern classical guitar traces its origins to 19th-century Spain, in particular the instrument as designed by Antonio de Torres. The upper strings are made from gut or now more commonly nylon, and are plucked with the right hand. Andres Segovia propelled the Spanish guitar to worldwide acclaim, and trained the next generation of classical guitarists. At the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara, students who have finished with the Suzuki books in either violin or viola can work with Valerie on furthering their artistic training. Valerie has much experience with pre-college training and she began her teaching at the college level.

Yet a common misconception is that Suzuki students only play from the Suzuki books; Dr. Suzuki himself taught other pieces to his own students. David Malvinni, Ph.D., is now accepting students in his guitar studio, from beginner to advanced, all ages. Beginner Suzuki students focus on a wide range of material covering standard Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical pieces. More advanced students learn Spanish and Modern classical repertoire.Unlocking an individual’s talent through the development of proper technique leads to a lifetime of enjoyment of Santa Barbara guitar lessons, and also paves the way for powerful musical expression. The School is committed to excellence in both teaching and performing.

In an alarming example of intersectionality and cluelessness colliding on the topic of the Nazi Holocaust, a principal at a Florida high school recently refused to acknowledge the murder of 6 million Jews as a factual historical event. In recent months, Americans have witnessed besotted middle schoolers playing Swastika beer pong, southern California junior hockey players giving the Sieg Heil, and a high school teacher who heaped praise on Hitler in a graduation yearbook. But the Boca Raton, Fla., incident involved an adult put in charge of educating and nurturing a few hundred American teens on the cusp of adulthood with all its responsibilities and potential. "Not everyone believes the Holocaust happened," Principal William Latson wrote to a parent concerned about how the Holocaust was being taught at Spanish River Community High School.

"I can’t say the Holocaust is a factual, historical event because I am not in a position to do so as a school district employee," Latson said in an email to the mother of a student at the school. "You have your thoughts, but we are a public school, and not all of our parents have the same beliefs," he wrote. Mr. Latson has been removed from his job and given other (non-student related, we hope) tasks. For some, that’s not enough; they want him fired. We are more interested to learn from the ex-principal: What exactly were you thinking? Are you a Holocaust-denier? Do you believe that history should be treated as a College Advanced Placement exam with multiple correct answers?

As an "educator," do you believe that what you feel about history is more important than historic truths? To be sure, there are millions of parents who think the Holocaust should not be taught to their children and who don’t believe that the Nazis murdered 6 million Jews. But most of those people don’t live in democracies; they live under brutal regimes, perhaps in Iran, or under the sway of Islamist virulent Jew-hatred. Yet this might be the right time to restate why Holocaust education is so important right here in the United States. The mind-numbing statistics of this genocide should be only the beginning of the learning curve for young Americans. The most important lesson is to teach young people that there is good and evil in the world, and that each person is constantly challenged to choose between good, evil and apathy.

Young people need to be taught — and the adults guiding their lives need to be reminded — that the Nazis sought to destroy the Jewish people and obliterate values such as justice, fairness and empathy. They almost succeeded because of choices the perpetrators and bystanders made while their neighbors were hauled off to be killed. In the 21st century, these basic values of humanity remain under assault. Social media has bestowed to every individual a voice and a choice — to do good or to empower evil. The lessons of the past never have been more timely or relevant. We need educators and leaders who understand those lessons and have the capacity and wisdom to impart them to new generations. And let us all remember the words of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, a wise former U.S.

It's clear that innovation isn't backing off and parents are not contradicted to improving their youngster's knowledge with innovation. Playing DVD's in the auto is just the same old thing new nowadays, nor are kids educational app. Educational applications are extremely popular on advanced cells and tablets for youngsters to learn and develop, while playing recreations.youtube.com Parents, ensure the Kids Learning Apps are age appropriate! All it takes is basic research, perusing others audits on the application.youtube.com Youngsters as youthful as little child matured to preschoolers are playing educational apps to learn ABC's, hues, shapes, numbers, even apprentices level Spanish.

• Social association permits parents and youngsters to finish the given assignment together and improves engagement amongst tyke and parent. By rehashing the educational, the expertise, for example, creatures or hues is probably going to stick. • Entertainment is an advantage, making so it isn't absolutely educational. Apps can enhance vocabularies, for instance without a tyke remembering they are notwithstanding taking in a thing from the engaging app. Tablets are consistently being executed in the classroom which is as it should be. Clearly, a lot of something worth being thankful for, is excessively. I wouldn't prompt giving a little child or preschooler a chance to sit with an iPad in their grasp throughout the day.

That could have antagonistic impacts. Explore still proposes that playing with toys and being included in hands-on exercises invigorate a kid's imagination. Between a balance of playing outside, building pieces, and learning with educational apps, a tyke can start to create engine and subjective abilities at a more youthful age and quicker pace.youtube.com Parents perusing with their youngsters are constantly energized; it's recently that in today's mechanical development doesn't need to impede that. You can in any case take a seat with your kid and learn creatures, sorts of transportation (pontoons, trains, transport), or basically read a nursery rhyme. It doesn't make a difference to a baby or preschooler. They simply need to be near their folks. Give your kids a kick off to a legitimate education before they hit the classroom. Once more, ensure there is observing of the educational apps and pick ones that play into a common school classroom's educational modules.youtube.com We recommend Kids Learning Apps to teach new words to your kids in interesting way. They will also show interest in learning by using this.

I noticed that I did not mention module 4 much in the last post. It was overwhelmingly about review from the past. For this post, I’ll write about it more alongside module 5 which I completed today. In my last post, I attempted to try and explain how to learn challenging subjects. If not, I at least hope you received something from the videos I referenced. When it came to module five, it was complicated, but it is doable. For you to understand it, you need to have a thorough understanding of multiple concepts. Something that I noticed with JavaScript when compared to CSS is that JavaScript seems to connect with everything.

In other words, you have to have a solid understanding of past building blocks of knowledge for you to understand the next part. With CSS, you learn various properties, but that’s it. Function and parameters have an entire module dedicated to it. If you don’t understand that, it will be very difficult to go through it. In fact, if you don’t understand the knowledge required to do F&P, you have to go back another module or two to understand it. There’s not much thinking involved relative to JavaScript. You set your property, then your value, and see what happens. Anyway, I struggled with methods a lot.
